He Really Can Be Trusted ~ Go Figure…

“When you can’t figure out what to do, you need to take a break from the issue and quiet your soul. Ask for wisdom, and I will show you the next thing to do. Then, it is up to you to be obedient and follow My directions. Trust Me to bring you through every difficulty.”
1 John 5:14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
Some of you are facing things right now and you have no clue which way to turn. And some of you are like me & you have a “fight or flight” mechanism built right in by life experience – I mean that sucker is hard-wired. So for those of us like that it is not easy AT ALL to get still & to be quiet, waiting on God’s direction when we are facing a conundrum.

Because frankly, we want to take that dang bull by the horns and twist it this way or that until it submits to our liking. But our liking isn’t always what’s best for us. In fact for me, many times it has been the polar opposite of whatever I was whining & pining for. True story.

As I look back over my life, I can see hand-over-fist the number of times God’s sovereignty has won out & it has worked so much better for me. Eons better. Like better than I could have ever pulled off on my own, with all my mighty power & wisdom…

I can’t say it enough – especially to us impatient humans –
God CAN be trusted. He DOES know all & He sees all – like what’s coming & what paths our own independent decisions would take us down had we not heeded the signs, the nudge-ings – His whispers.

Don’t you want His very best for your life?
Of course. I know I sure do.

Join me y’all ~

Much love & more & more trust in the Maker Of Heaven & Earth – and of you & me,
