Visitors In The Night

This may sound a little left-of-center for some of you but it’s real to me.

For a long time I have been bothered with shall we say “visitors” in the night. I’m jarred awake somewhere smack-dab in the middle of my slumber. I can usually discern if it’s God waking me for some reason vs. something sinister. It’s mostly sinister. Last night was no different. At 1:34 I jerked awake & could feel it in the air. Slither-ly & creep-y. I have a little elderly Dachshund named Otis who generally sleeps through the night with no issue – in the next room. Not 2 minutes after I woke so did he & started barking. Keep in mind he is going blind & deaf.

So I laid there & gathered myself & prayed. I prayed for myself & other people I care for. I spoke about who God is & how mighty & awesome He is. I called out many of His names – basically making a quiet show & proclamation of my trust in Him vs. whatever was screwing with me.

Not-so-strangely-enough these kind of things normally happen when I am moving forward in an area I have waited for. Believed for. Or someone I love that I have been standing in prayer with begins to get breakthrough. Nothing but attempts to rob & pillage my blessing. It ain’t happenin’. Nope.

Within minutes of my little war, it lifted & I drifted back to sleep. And slept like a child till morn.

Thank you Lord, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty. Because of You.

Any of you dealing with anything similar?
I’d love to hear about it.

Much love y’all & fighting fire with our Armor & Sword,

Bonnie

Have no fear, Bonnie. Happens to me all the time, and has for years.Usually, I immediately know who I’m to pray for, but it’s downright creepy other times.I just do what you did, and ignore that “visitor”. I like to turn my back, roll over and go back to sleep.Satan’s minions HATE being ignored, because their power comes from fear. I refuse to give him my time. He’s not worth the time of day. Love you, warrior sis! Susy. btw. Kiss Otis for me!
