The Struggle Of Regret & The Summit Of Moving Ahead

A little Thursday morning share from a devotion I received:

“You may be reeling from recent events, but I am bringing you to a new place of equilibrium and balance. I will give you the strength to put the past behind and move forward with faith and confidence. Refuse the temptation to condemn yourself with thoughts of regret. I am still with you.”

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

I am probably one of the worst for beating myself up over things I have done – things that have happened. I am a champ at blaming myself even when it’s crystal-clear something wasn’t my fault. I think some of that comes from being raised in an alcoholic home. At any rate, it is something I am slowly but surely getting better at.

if you resemble any of my remarks at all, c’mon & join me in this uphill struggle.

I feel sure the reward truly lies at the summit.

Much love & perseverance y’all,
